Panamarenko is one of Belgium’s most visionary artists, known for his groundbreaking explorations of space, motion, flight, energy, and gravity. His work blends artistic imagination with technological experimentation, resulting in creations that challenge the boundaries of both science and art.
For M HKA, Antwerp’s Museum of Contemporary Art, I created a short video together with Visuals Internationals to introduce Panamarenko’s iconic piece, Bing—a magnetic-drive spaceship.
The video is a dynamic collage, with frame-by-frame elements. weaving together the artist’s original notes and technical drawings to tell the story of Bing in his own visual language.
